RDT is pleased to announce open applications for the Special Scholarship Programme and Semi-Scholarship Programme for students who have completed their 10th and wish to pursue Intermediate studies.

Selection will be based entirely on merit, no entrance examination will be conducted this year.

Please note: These scholarships are only available to students residing within RDT programme areas.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Special Scholarship Programme
400 seats
  • Government School students (State Syllabus) with 520/600 or above marks
  • Government School students (CBSE) with 430/500 or above marks
Semi – Scholarship Programme
1000 seats
  • Government School students (State) with 520/600 or above marks
  • Government School students (CBSE) with 430/500 or above marks
  • Private School students (State) with 550/600 or above marks
  • Private School students (CBSE) with 450/500 or above marks

Ration Card

Only students from families holding a White Ration Card (Below Poverty Line) are eligible.

Residency

The student’s family must reside within an RDT project area.

Family Income

Families of government employees or high-income private sector employees are not eligible. Monthly family income must be ₹15,000 or below. A Salary Certificate is required.

Merit-Based Selection

Selection is based on 10th class marks. In case of a tie, Science and Mathematics scores are considered.

These scholarships are exclusively open to students who reside within RDT programme areas. Students from outside these areas are not eligible to apply. If you are unsure whether your location qualifies, please contact your nearest RDT field office for confirmation.

Selection Criteria

  • No entrance examination will be conducted this year; selection is purely merit-based.

  • Even students with strong marks may not be selected if the family’s economic condition does not meet the criteria.

  • In the event of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates with higher scores in Science and Mathematics.

  • RDT reserves the right to increase or decrease the total number of seats at its discretion.

How to Apply

Visit Your Nearest RDT Field Office

Applications must be submitted in person at the nearest RDT field office or regional office in your area. The office staff will guide you through the process.

Carry Your Documents

Bring your 10th class marks certificate, White Ration Card (BPL), Salary Certificate of the earning member, and any other supporting documents the office may require.

Submit Before the Deadline

Ensure your application is submitted at the RDT field office on or before 9th May 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
